Here are some Random details that maybe included on the test:
-Parris is a widower.
-Abigail and the gang supposedly see a bluebird in the courthouse.
-Betty flails as "going up to Jesus".
- Hale is much like the king in Antigone because he makes his turn around too late.
-Abigail is responsible for 19 other deaths
- There are 91 accusations of the list.
-The Deputy Governor has been practicing law for 32 years.
- The Angel Raphael said , "Do that which is good and no harm shall come to thee."
-Crucible means severe test or trial, not "that thing you use in Chemistry when heating stuff."

Lets discuss characters, shall we?

John Proctor is our tragic hero who's lust for Abigail and resulting affair is the spark that ignites the witch trails. Is he more to blame than Abigail for not stepping forward sooner as others died? Did he condemn himself with the relationships he established with others (ex. Reverend Parris, Abigail, even Elizabeth)?

Abigail Williams is an unmarried orphan who's social standing is only above that of her slaves, such as Tithuba, and social outcasts (like Hester Prynne in the Scarlett Letter). Her character is flat, only feeling jealousy. The author does not give us a situation so that we can understand her emotions. Biblical allusion- Jezebel. In the situation of the trials she finds for the first time in her life power that usually is held by the men. SHe grabs hold of this power and is responsible for19 innocent deaths. "hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn"- does this apply to Abigail or was jeaalousy just the base and she now hungers for control and power? Were you satisfied by the ending or did you feel that she deserved punishment instead of being able to escape?
